yay! new page though, i think the inking of fluttershy´s mane in panel 3 came out wrong, shoul´nt it have gone to the inside part of her mane or fade somewhere in the way to it? instead of the upper side of it?
man...I'm so excited about this comic... I really love your drawings and art! I wish I could know these kinds of shadow casting skills .-. and the most funny part? at the first frame, AJ say that it came down right thgough everfree forest... in the fic i'm working on, something happens, just like that D: expect that it's not raining meteors xD anyway. good job. I love your art o/
well...you see...i'm making and art for my fic, and this one specifically i think it envolves a looot of shadow casting. there's an...item in the middle of the room that casts the light, with my OC pony right behind it... the room itself is kinda dark. and i wanted to know how the light is supposed to act, not only in my OC's coat but also on the room... because i know that in some parts of his body, it will be brighter than the others and how to apply this kinds of stuff on the drawing. i was wondering if Photoshop CS4 have a filter for this kinds of thing. yeah...it's really hard to explain xD
Oh...I try xD I actually drew some characters having a simple circle on the ground, trying to imitate their shadows casted by a light from above, but nothing marvelows xD you see...I love drawing and the art itself, but never actually studied or went to drawing classes. All the knowledge I know from image effects is pretty raw and my "style" of drawing, dunno if I can name it that way, i learned from years of practice ( i draw since i was 7 years old. ) And I never researched for more because I thought the way I drew was okay. but now that i'm having Image Processing and CG at my university, it kinda awoke in myself a urge to create more detailed drawings and images. Sorry for the long comment
